Custom glass wine cellars designed and built to fit your space. Measured, fabricated, and installed by MG Glass in the Atlanta metro.
A glass wine cellar puts your collection on display and makes it part of the room. At MG Glass, we design and install custom glass wine cellars to fit the actual dimensions and layout of your space. Whether it's a full enclosure in a finished basement, a wine wall along a dining room, or an under-staircase build in a character home, we measure on-site and build it to fit.

Some homes work best with a fully enclosed glass wine room. Others are better suited to a wine wall where the racking sits behind a single glass panel — the bottles stay visible while the layout stays open. We look at sightlines and lighting during the design talk. The finished enclosure should fit the style of your home, not fight against it.
Location affects how your wine cellar performs and how easily you access the collection. Some owners already have a basement room ready. Others prefer a dining room, hallway, or under-staircase spot. When we visit, we review wall alignment, ceiling height, and floor construction — all of which affect panel layout. We use those details to set panel sizes and door placement.
Tempered safety glass is the standard for custom glass wine cellars. It's durable and holds up under daily use. Each panel is cut to align cleanly with your walls and ceiling. Most owners go with low iron glass, which removes the slight green tint found in standard glass so your bottles and racking stay clearly visible.

The door affects how your glass wine cellar works every day — it should open smoothly and close tightly. Frameless glass doors are the most popular choice because they keep the clean look of the enclosure. Proper door sealing matters for any enclosed wine cellar. Door seals and contact points must align so the enclosure closes tight every time. We adjust hinges and seals during install to make sure the door operates correctly and the enclosure is properly sealed. Temperature and humidity control are handled by your HVAC contractor.
We protect nearby floors and surfaces before placing any glass. Each panel gets positioned to align with the surrounding structure, and mounting hardware holds everything in place while keeping the enclosure looking clean. After the glass walls are set, we install the door system and adjust the hinges. Before we leave, we check panel alignment and confirm the door seals on all contact points.

MG Glass has been in the glass trade since 1999, starting with one man and a pickup truck in Lawrenceville. Juan Marquez founded the company and still oversees every project today. Our crew is fully licensed and insured, we take on projects other companies turn down, and we stand behind every install. The job site stays clean, the timeline stays on track, and any issue gets corrected fast.
We serve the Greater Atlanta metro area, including the surrounding communities in the region.

Yes. Atlanta's humid summers make proper sealing more important here than in drier climates. If the door seals are loose, outside air and humidity can enter the enclosure. We align every seal and contact point during install so the glass enclosure closes tight. Managing temperature and humidity inside the cellar is your HVAC contractor's responsibility — our job is to make sure the enclosure is sealed correctly so their system can do its job.
Most wine cellar projects use low iron tempered safety glass. Low iron glass removes the slight green tint found in standard glass so your bottles and racking stay clearly visible. Tempered glass adds strength and safety for large, heavy panels.
Yes. A wine wall with a single glass panel works well in open layouts. It keeps the bottles visible from the kitchen or dining area without closing off a section of the room. We review your layout and sightlines during the planning visit to find the right setup.
Most projects move from the first visit to finished install in two to four weeks. We confirm the timeline after we measure and know the panel count, glass type, and door system.
Great communication, pricing and installation. Friendly and helpful guys were able to replace a custom build window. Thank you!
I can't justly describe the amount of money this team saved us on updating the 43 windows in our home. The team was first class from their survey to their installation process and production timelines. Other firms didn't get it right. Finally, they really stand by their work!
Update 10/1/2022 I've changed my rating to 5 stars. Last month MG Glass reached out to advise they received in the square hinges and asked if I wanted to swap out. Why of course!!! This is excellent customer service - own it and make it right! Love how my glass shower door. So many compliments. I've added a new pic of the square hinges. So far so good! Love the way my frameless shower door looks. The reason for the 4 star and not 5 star, my hardware doesn't match the style. The handle and clips are square but the hinges are curved.
