MG Glass installs custom glass systems for homes and businesses across Johns Creek and the North Atlanta area. We measure and fabricate every panel to fit your space, whether that's a frameless shower enclosure, storefront glass, or an insulated glass unit replacement.
Johns Creek's executive housing went up in one master-planned wave between the mid 1980s and early 2000s, and bathrooms in St Ives Country Club, Medlock Bridge, and Doublegate are hitting prime remodel age with their original builder framed enclosures still in place. Thirty years of settling leaves walls slightly out of plumb, so we hand-measure every opening and fabricate glass to the actual room instead of forcing a stock kit to fit.
Enclosures are built from 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch tempered glass as hinged doors or full custom enclosures, with hardware finishes matched to your fixtures and an optional factory-applied coating that makes the glass easier to keep clean. Nothing comes in a standard size; every panel is cut to your opening.

Glass railings are one of the fastest-growing requests in Johns Creek. Open staircases and loft edges in newer builds call for frameless guards that keep interiors bright, while on wooded lots in Rivermont and along the Chattahoochee River corridor, a glass deck or balcony rail preserves the tree-line view that pickets and cable rail chop into segments.
Every system is engineered to meet Fulton County residential code for guard height and load. We install tempered or laminated safety glass and recommend the right mounting during the free on-site measurement, either base-shoe channels that anchor panels in a continuous run or standoff fittings that float each panel off the structure.
Fog trapped between the panes of a double-pane window means the insulated glass unit's seal has failed. Georgia's swings between humid summers and cold winter mornings wear on those seals, and the first-generation units in Johns Creek's 1985–2005 housing stock are reaching end of seal life right on schedule.
When the frame and sash are sound, we replace only the sealed glass unit and keep the window you already own. The new unit restores a clear view and brings back the insulating performance the window was built to deliver, at a fraction of the cost and timeline of a full replacement.
Retail frontage along the Medlock Bridge Road corridor and at Johns Creek Town Center, office suites in Technology Park, and the State Bridge Road shopping strips all depend on storefront glass that stays clear and presentable under daily traffic. We replace damaged panels matched to the existing system and install complete new storefronts.
Our crews install aluminum-framed storefront systems with tempered glass, and for lobbies that want a frameless presence, we fabricate Herculite all-glass entrance doors. We also coordinate Fulton County commercial permitting and inspections where the project requires them, building that timeline into the schedule.

Fitness studios, salons, and restaurant interiors along the Medlock Bridge corridor use full-wall mirrors to stretch light and make tight spaces read larger, and corporate offices bring in architectural glass features for the same effect. In Johns Creek homes, oversized vanity and full-height mirrors replace the builder-grade originals installed when these communities were new.
We template every wall before cutting so the mirror fits irregular geometry, wraps corners, and lands cleanly around outlets and trim, with polished or beveled edges to match the design and the right mounting method chosen for each wall.

In Country Club of the South and St Ives-tier estates, a glass wine room has become the showpiece of the renovation, turning a collection into a design feature.
We glaze wine rooms with insulated panels that hold steady temperature and humidity in the conditioned space, hung with full-height frameless doors and finished with clean silicone-joined corners. For entries, pantry doors, and interior partitions, we also fabricate etched, frosted, and textured decorative glass.
When storm debris or a break-in takes out a storefront along Medlock Bridge Road, State Bridge Road, or in Technology Park, we board up the opening to secure the space, then template and fabricate a replacement panel matched to the existing storefront system.
For high-traffic commercial frontage, we also install threat-resistant security glazing that hardens an entrance against forced entry without changing how it reads from the street. For a business that has already dealt with one break-in, it is the upgrade that prevents the second.

Plan on roughly 7–10 business days from deposit to install day; the install itself takes about 2 hours for a hinged door or 3–4 hours for a full enclosure. Settled framing in these 1990s-era homes is why we start with a free on-site measurement.
Yes. We coordinate Fulton County commercial permitting and inspections whenever a storefront, entrance, or partition project requires them, and we build that timeline into the schedule before install day, so business owners and general contractors know when the glass scope opens and closes.
Yes. Cycling between humid heat and winter cold stresses an insulated glass unit's edge seal until it fails and fog forms between the panes. Original double-pane units in Johns Creek's 1985–2005 housing stock are reaching end of seal life now. We replace the sealed unit and keep your frame.
Yes. We install tempered and laminated safety glass railings for decks, balconies, and open stairs, engineered to Fulton County guard requirements. Wooded river-corridor lots in communities like Rivermont are where an unobstructed glass guard pays off most. Every railing project begins with an on-site structural evaluation.
Yes. We provide board-up and replacement glass for storefronts and offices across the Medlock Bridge corridor, Technology Park, State Bridge Road, and Johns Creek Town Center. Replacement panels are templated and fabricated to match the existing storefront system.

Johns Creek, Georgia, is an affluent, culturally diverse suburb in northeastern Fulton County about 25 miles north of Atlanta, bounded on the south by the Chattahoochee River. One of Georgia's newer cities — incorporated on December 1, 2006 — it grew out of the rural, Cherokee-era crossroads communities of Ocee, Newtown, Shakerag, and Warsaw and the 1970s-era Technology Park, and has since been ranked repeatedly among the best and safest places to live in America. Known for its top-rated schools, the championship Atlanta Athletic Club, the Autrey Mill Nature Preserve, popular Newtown Park, and a diverse dining scene along the Medlock Bridge Road corridor, Johns Creek offers a polished, family-friendly quality of life with easy access to the rest of metro Atlanta.
Great communication, pricing and installation. Friendly and helpful guys were able to replace a custom build window. Thank you!
I can't justly describe the amount of money this team saved us on updating the 43 windows in our home. The team was first class from their survey to their installation process and production timelines. Other firms didn't get it right. Finally, they really stand by their work!
Update 10/1/2022 I've changed my rating to 5 stars. Last month MG Glass reached out to advise they received in the square hinges and asked if I wanted to swap out. Why of course!!! This is excellent customer service - own it and make it right! Love how my glass shower door. So many compliments. I've added a new pic of the square hinges. So far so good! Love the way my frameless shower door looks. The reason for the 4 star and not 5 star, my hardware doesn't match the style. The handle and clips are square but the hinges are curved.
