MG Glass installs custom glass systems for homes and businesses across Alpharetta and the North Atlanta area. We measure and fabricate every panel to fit your space, whether that's a frameless shower enclosure, storefront glass, or an insulated glass unit replacement.
Much of Alpharetta's executive housing went up during the Windward era of the late 1980s and 1990s, and those bathrooms are reaching remodel age with their original framed enclosures still in place. In Windward and Glen Abbey remodels, a custom frameless door lets heavy tempered glass meet tile and stone cleanly, while the new luxury builds near downtown Alpharetta and the Avalon district get full-height and steam-ready enclosures designed in from the start.
Walls in homes of that vintage rarely sit perfectly square, so we measure every opening by hand and fabricate the glass to the actual room instead of forcing a stock kit into an out-of-plumb corner. Fabrication typically runs 7–10 business days from deposit, and install day is measured in hours, not weeks.

On elevated decks overlooking Lake Windward and on lots backing the Big Creek Greenway, a glass guard keeps the view open where pickets and cable rail would slice it into segments. The open stairs and loft edges in newer townhome and mixed-use builds near Avalon and Alpharetta City Center call for the same clean sightline.
Every system we install is engineered to meet Fulton County residential code for guard height and load. During the free on-site measurement, we evaluate the structure first, then recommend base-shoe mounting, where tempered panels sit in a continuous anchored channel, or standoff mounting, where polished fittings float each panel off the surface.
The original double-pane units in 1980s and 1990s Windward-era and Glen Abbey homes are the most common seal failures we see in Alpharetta. Georgia humidity and the wide swings between summer afternoons and winter mornings wear on insulated glass unit seals until the gas fill escapes, moisture creeps in, and the window fogs from the inside.
Where the frame and sash are sound, we replace only the sealed glass unit, keeping the window you have and skipping the cost and disruption of a full tear-out. The new unit restores the clear view and the energy efficiency the window was built to deliver.
Retail and restaurant frontage at Avalon and along downtown Alpharetta's Main Street, office suites on the Windward Parkway tech corridor, and the North Point Parkway retail strip all depend on storefront glass that stays clear and presentable under constant daily traffic.
We install aluminum-framed storefront systems with tempered glass, replace damaged panels matched to the original, and fabricate Herculite all-glass doors for lobbies and entrances that want a frameless presence. We also coordinate Fulton County commercial permitting and inspections where the project requires them, building that timeline into the schedule.

Fitness studios and gyms along the Windward Parkway corridor need full-wall mirrors templated to wrap corners, clear baseboards, and land cleanly around outlets and rails. Restaurants and hospitality spaces at Avalon and downtown Alpharetta use mirror walls to stretch ambient light, and corporate offices bring in architectural glass features that make interiors read larger.
We template every wall on site before cutting, so heavy plate mirror lands clean on irregular geometry, with polished or beveled edges to match the design. Full-height mirrors do the same work in open-plan Alpharetta homes, bouncing natural light deeper into main living spaces.

In north Alpharetta estates around the 30004 corridor and the luxury residences near Avalon, a glass wine room has become the showpiece of the build, reading as furniture rather than construction.
We build wine enclosures with insulated glazing that holds a steady temperature and humidity around the collection, full-height frameless doors, and clean silicone-joined corners. We also fabricate etch
When storm debris, an accident, or a break-in takes out glass along North Point Parkway, downtown Alpharetta, or the Avalon-area retail blocks, we board up the opening to secure the space, then template and fabricate a replacement panel matched to the existing storefront system.
For high-traffic commercial frontage, we also install threat-resistant security glazing that hardens entrances against forced entry without changing how the storefront reads from the street. It is a practical upgrade for any business that has already dealt with one broken door.

Plan on about 2 hours of install time for a hinged frameless door and 3–4 hours for a full enclosure. Custom fabrication runs roughly 7–10 business days from deposit to install day, and the whole process starts with a free on-site measurement at your Alpharetta home.
Frameless shower doors use thicker 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch tempered glass with no perimeter metal, so light passes through and your tile work stays visible. Framed doors hold thinner glass inside an aluminum frame. We recommend frameless; it outlasts framed hardware and is far easier to keep clean.
Yes. Fog between the panes means the insulated glass unit's edge seal has failed. We replace the sealed glass unit and keep your existing frame and sash, restoring clarity and insulating value at a fraction of the cost and disruption of a full window replacement.
Yes. We install custom glass throughout Alpharetta, including downtown, the Avalon district, Windward, and Glen Abbey, plus neighboring Roswell, Milton, and Johns Creek. Every project starts with a free on-site measurement anywhere in the service area.

Alpharetta, Georgia is an affluent city in north Fulton County about 25 miles north of Atlanta, incorporated in 1858 and known as the "Technology City of the South" for its cluster of corporate and tech offices, with a charming historic downtown City Center, the upscale Avalon district, the Big Creek Greenway, and Ameris Bank Amphitheatre.
Great communication, pricing and installation. Friendly and helpful guys were able to replace a custom build window. Thank you!
I can't justly describe the amount of money this team saved us on updating the 43 windows in our home. The team was first class from their survey to their installation process and production timelines. Other firms didn't get it right. Finally, they really stand by their work!
Update 10/1/2022 I've changed my rating to 5 stars. Last month MG Glass reached out to advise they received in the square hinges and asked if I wanted to swap out. Why of course!!! This is excellent customer service - own it and make it right! Love how my glass shower door. So many compliments. I've added a new pic of the square hinges. So far so good! Love the way my frameless shower door looks. The reason for the 4 star and not 5 star, my hardware doesn't match the style. The handle and clips are square but the hinges are curved.
